6. She has More Armor Than She can Summon

In the omake "Welcome to Fairy Hills", Lucy visits the dormitory of the female members of the Fairy Tail guild. This is a joke chapter with a sweet ending, but has a secondary purpose of allowing fans of the series to see all the ladies' rooms in the Fairy Tail guild, from Biska to Juvia, and Erza to Levy.

But what we can learn about Erza is that she actually has more armor than she can summon. There was a limit to the amount of armor and weapons she could store in the magic room, so she kept the rest in Fairy Hills. Erza had to rent five rooms just to have enough space to store all her armor and weapons.

7. Erza's Initial Character Design Looks Like an Amazonian Woman

However, initially Hiro Mashima imagined a completely different appearance for her . She was originally designed to be armed with a spear instead of a sword, and had a much more natural and wild appearance, almost like an Amazonian.

8. The Arc Focusing on Erza Was Originally Made with a Different Story

Hiro Mashima had plans to make major changes to the series from the start. During the Tower of Heaven arc, we see Erza begin to dream about her past life as a slave working in the Tower of Heaven. But this flashback was originally planned to be present for the series story rather than just being a story of the past. In other words, Erza will remain a young girl working hard in the tower, and all her memories of Natsu, Gray, and the others will only be dreams about life outside the Tower of Heaven.

This concept would be a big change that basically positioned Erza as the main character, but fortunately, Mashima changed his mind and decided to make Erza's character not as dark as the original concept.
