4. He Always Wanted To Have A Magic Cat 

All Dragon Slayers have a talking pet cat. Natsu has Happy. Wendy owns Carla. But for a while, Gajeel Redfox didn't have a cat and he was very confused about it.

He even got to the point where he cried in the Fairy Tail guild hall before Gajeel and his friends were transported to a parallel world called Edolas, where the talking cat known as Exceed originated. There, Gajeel can meet Pantherlily, a magical cat who is a member of the Edolas army. After the conflict in Edolas ended, Lily Panther accompanied all Fairy Tail members back to their homes and joined the guild to become Gajeel's companion.

5. He Can Turn Iron Into Steel

Even though he was easily confused considering the Dragon who trained him named Metallicana, but Gajeel Redfox was actually an Iron Dragon Slayer. He can consume iron to feed his magical energy and turn his body into iron easily.
