Mr Fantastic or Reed Richards is one of the smartest people in the Marvel universe and one of the inventors, only Tony Stark can come close to his genius. Richards was instrumental in several major decisions and was questioned by the group. Those big decisions included exiling the Hulk into space, which eventually left the Hulk stranded on the planet Sakaar. This Illuminati group also plays a role in a crossover event called Secret Invasion.

2. Has an Evil Variant Named The Maker

Just as some variants of Loki in the multiverse are very different from Loki in Earth-616, the variants of Mr Fantastic are just as diverse. One of the most important variants that might play a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is The Maker. The Maker is Richards' evil version of the Ultimate Comics line.

The Maker is far more thorough than Earth-616's Reed Richards and he has traveled across time and space to enter Marvel's main continuity. With the multiverse in the MCU, it's very likely that this evil version of Mr Fantastic will appear at some point.

3. He Founded the Council of Reeds with His Variants

There are almost infinite variants of Reed Richards, and like many strong variants of Kang The Conqueror, these variants of Mr Fantastic unite from across the multiverse to form the Council of Reeds. The Interdimensional Council of Reeds debuted in Fantastic Four comic #570 in 2009.

They are led by a trio of Reed variants, all of whom wear the Infinity Gauntlet from their respective universes.

4. He has 4 Degrees at 18 Years Old

This is all evidence of the genius of Mr. Fantastic. Although many young people usually still enjoy their first year of college at the age of 18, Reed Richards has already collected his bachelor's degree at such a young age.
