Ryomen Sukuna the King of Curses has the same face as the main Jujutsu Kaisen character named Yuji Itadori. But thanks to Yuji's self-control, Jujutsu Kaisen anime and manga fans can still know a little bit about Ryomen Sukuna. The cursed spirit that lives inside the Jujutsu Kaisen protagonist is indeed called the King of Curses. After witnessing Sukuna's show of power against a special class of cursed spirits, namely Megumi Fushiguro and Mahito, there is no longer any reason to question the title of King of the Curses.
Despite the fact that Ryomen Sukuna has yet to take on the role of the main antagonist and seems to have almost no chance against Satoru Gojo, many still fear him. The King of the Curses is a mystery, which makes his sinister mission feel daunting regardless of the role he plays in the current plot of the Jujutsu Kaisen. Want to know about Sukuna? Let’s learn the fact about Sukuna the main antagonist that appears in Jujutsu Kaisen.
1. He Is A Human Sorcerer And A Cursed Spirit Too
Another note that Satoru Gojo made when explaining Sukuna to Yuji Itadori was the fact that Sukuna is a human sorcerer and also a cursed spirit too. In the modern world of jujutsu, this is completely unheard of.
There are the likes of Panda and Choso who blur the line between cursed spirits and jujutsu sorcerer, but none claim to be living, breathing human sorcerer and cursed spirits as well. Hopefully when Sukuna becomes a larger part of the Jujutsu Kaisen series, fans of the saga will find out how the ancient sorcerer was able to turn into a cursed spirit in the first place.
2. Sukuna's real form is someone who has four arms and four eyes
When Satoru Gojo first describes the ancient threat of Ryomen Sukuna, he makes it clear that Sukuna once ruled the world of Jujutsu with four of his fists. That's right, Sukuna's original form had 20 fingers, four hands, and four arms. Despite the fact that Sukuna's twenty fingers are central to the storyline of the Jujutsu Kaisen, it remains unclear and somewhat mysterious when it comes to how or why the ancient sorcerer came to have four hands.
3. He Has Fire-based Powers
In the Shibuya Incident Arc, Sukuna uncovers a trick that leaves Jujutsu Kaisen fans scratching their heads in confusion. When approached by Jogo's Special Class Cursed Spirit, Sukuna unlocks his newest cursed fire-based technique to challenge Jogo with a just cause.
It becomes abundantly clear that Sukuna only revealed this technique to play around with Jogo, but this could further expand the mystery surrounding Sukuna. It seems that the King of Curses had access to various cursed techniques and Jujutsu Kaisen fans were shown little of his full power.
4. The Malevolent Shrine Has a Set of Teeth Inside
Sukuna's Cursed Technique was unique when compared to other jujutsu magicians and cursed spirits. Instead of forming a barrier and expanding his domain within the barrier, Sukuna expanded his domain above the natural world.
This might seem like a small difference, but it actually allowed Sukuna to expand his techniques to a much larger space than just traditional domain expansion techniques. This part can be explained by a heavenly boundary, but many are still confused why the Malevolent Shrine has a set of human teeth in it as well.
5. Sukuna's Cursed Technique Can Cut His Enemy With An Invisible Sword
Sukuna's cursed technique is still a mystery to Jujutsu Kaisen anime fans. Even fans of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga are still theorizing about the King's Curse technique. After witnessing Sukuna using his cursed technique that can be dismantled and split, fans of Jujutsu Kaisen come to the conclusion that Sukuna's innate technique has something to do with the technique of cutting his opponent with cursed energy.
This cursed technique seems to suit someone as evil as Sukuna, but after seeing him use a fire-based technique in the Jujutsu Kaisen manga, fans cannot confirm that splitting and disassembling is Sukuna's innate technique.

6. Satoru Gojo Said Fighting the King of Curses would be Tough
Satoru Gojo is famous for his very confident personality. When Yuji Itadori asks Satoru Gojo if he can beat Sukuna at full power, Satoru admits that doing so would definitely strain him, but fails to give in to the King of Curses.
Gojo's conviction is backed up by a powerful array of curse techniques, but Jujutsu Kaisen fans should still be concerned about the inevitable Sukuna vs. Gojo fight scene. Sukuna is undefeated after he faced Satoru Gojo in the second episode of the anime Jujutsu Kaisen. Satoru may have beaten him once, but back then Sukuna was only at 5% of his full strength. When Sukuna's condition reaches 100% of his strength, it might be a different story altogether. Not even a Satoru Gojo can beat the King of Curses.
7. Ryomen Sukuna Wasn't the Only Sorcerer Who Lived From the Golden Age of Jujutsu Magic
Both Urauma and Kenjaku appear to have known Sukuna in a past life, but their relationship is still too mysterious to fathom. The Shibuya incident proves that Sukuna and Urauma were very close in their past lives, as the King of Curses seemed surprised to see the white-haired monk across the battlefield. The witch hiding in Suguru Geto's body is even more mysterious than Sukuna, but as time goes by, the Jujutsu Kaisen plot will surely tell the story of Kenjaku and Sukuna.
8. He Was Defeated and Sealed Within His Own Fingers
Sukuna is clearly one of the most powerful Jujutsu users in the entire series written by Gege Akutami. The incredibly diverse array of cursed techniques he possessed, and the pure carnage of his domain expansion could make him a threat to anyone who considered him an enemy.
Despite all this, Sukuna still started this Jujutsu Kaisen series as a pair of rotting fingers. The Jujutsu Kaisen manga has led some fans to believe that it was Kenjaku who sealed Sukuna within his mutilated fingers, but Jujutsu Kaisen fans are also still in the dark about how and why Sukuna was defeated in his previous life.
9. He Got His Title Because Of His Original Cursed Technique
Many think that Sukuna earned the title of King of Curses because of the extraordinary power he has. Having been sealed for generations within his own finger, its strength was indeed questionable, but perhaps there was another reason behind this particular sealing or this title of his in the first place. Perhaps the King of Curses earned his title thanks to his original curse technique.
10. Sukuna Can't Control Yuji's Body
The first episode of Jujutsu Kaisen opens up Gege Akutami's world of Jujutsu by introducing Yuji Itadori as a supernaturally gifted high school student. After Megumi traces Yuji and Sukuna's fingers, it becomes clear that Yuji is more than just a person who is physically gifted. The kind-hearted young man had an attitude of self-sacrifice, but none of these aspects explained why Sukuna was unable to control Yuji as he swallowed that special level of cursed finger.
If Sukuna is the King of Curses, Yuji must be a king in other fields too, because it doesn't make sense that the most powerful Jujutsu sorcerer and cursed spirit could be rejected by a tough 9th grader like Yuji.
