Sonic the Hedgehog’s Sonic Station Live! Livestream announced that Paramount Pictures' Sonic the Hedgehog 2 film will feature Virtual YouTuber Inugami Korone in the Japanese version of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for a role in the film.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 was released in the United States on April 8, 2022, and will launch in Japan on August 19, 2022. In addition, the Japanese Twitter account of the franchise unveiled the costume design of Korone in collaboration with the film Sonic the Hedgehog 2.

Korone appeared in this costume on her live stream, where she briefly streamed the Sonic Origins game collection. A new collection of remastered Sonic the Hedgehog games launches for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on Thursday, June 23, 2022. Additionally, Korone will be holding a concurrent event with Sega Sound Team at a later date.
