TBS Animation has revealed the second trailer for The Quintessential Quintuplets film entitled Eiga Gotoubun no Hanayome (The Quintessential Quintuplets the Movie). The Quintessential Quintuplets film is also getting a game adaptation for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch to launch in Japan, with a standard edition and a limited edition on June 2, 2022.

The Quintessential Quintuplets film will be released in Japan on May 20, 2022, and its run time will exceed 130 minutes. The Quintessential Quintuplets film will be the closing of the anime series story.

A second season of the anime series aired on TBS from January to March 2021. Crunchyroll is also streaming a second season, and Funimation is also streaming it with an English dub. The new season of the series was originally scheduled to premiere in October 2020 but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Previously, the first season of this anime premiered in January 2019 and aired for 12 episodes. Crunchyroll streamed the anime series at the same time each episode first aired in Japan.

Kodansha Comics is releasing Negi Haruba's The Quintessential Quintuplets manga digitally and in print. The manga serialized in Kodansha's Shonen Weekly Magazine in August 2017, and Haruba ended the manga series in February 2020. A novel series will launch on March 31, 2022.
