The official website and Twitter account for the Kaguya-sama: Love is War anime series announced a new anime for the franchise. Although the staff has not determined the format of the new Kaguya-sama: Love is War anime, the staff will reveal more details on the website and Twitter at a later date.

The final one-hour episode of the anime Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai -Ultra Romantic-, the third season, premiered on Friday, June 24, 2022.

The Kaguya-sama: Love is War series received a special project themed "Kaguya Day" after the last episode aired, and will last for 24 hours. The project will reinvent the series with its cast and staff.

The third season of the Kaguya-sama: Love is War anime debuted on Tokyo MX, BS11, Gunma TV, and Tochigi TV on April 9, 2022. The anime also premiered on MBS, RKB, and TeNY. The series is streamed on Abema.

Crunchyroll streams the anime as each new episode airs in Japan, and also features English subtitles. The latest season of Kaguya-sama: Love is War features the cast and staff returning from the previous season.

Masayuki Suzuki again performed the anime's opening theme song "GIRI GIRI" with Suu. Airi Suzuki again performed the ending theme song "Heart wa Oteage" (My heart doesn't know what to do).

The previous two anime seasons were adapted from Aka Akasaka's manga Kaguya-sama: Love is War, which premiered in January 2019 and April 2021.
