Bandai Namco Entertainment America has started streaming a gameplay trailer for Digimon World: Next Order. Digimon World: Next Order will launch on Nintendo Switch and PC (via Steam) in North America and Europe on February 22, 2023.

The Digimon World: Next Order game first launched on the PlayStation Vita in 2016, and then launched globally for the PlayStation 4 in 2017 with multiple language options, including English and Japanese voiceovers, as well as English, French, and Spanish subtitles. 

In Digimon World: Next Order, players will assume the role of a DigiDestined named Shiki or Takuto and embark on a mission to solve the confusing mystery of Digi and return the Digital World to its natural order, after it was spiraled into chaos due to Machinedramon having taken over the world.

As DigiDestined, players will encounter various Digimon and recruit them as companions in the quest to rebuild the Digital World. Throughout their journey, they need to explore the Digital World and strengthen their bonds with their fellow Digimons to stop Digimons being infected with a virus and causing total annihilation.

Digimon World: Next Order features over 200 Digimon to collect and become friends with, from which players can choose two Digimon to accompany them on their adventure as comrades-in-arms. Players can strengthen their Digimon bond by training, feeding, and Digivolving their Digimon to unlock their full potential, as well as make them even stronger in battle.

In their adventures, the DigiDestined will also meet very unique characters and have the opportunity to expand and manage the city of Floatia which serves as a base for this adventure.
