Kodansha Game Creator's Lab, a support project for indie game maker Kodansha, announced that it has launched its new Family Battle 2vs2 Arena game on Steam Early Access.

The Family Battle 2vs2 Arena game with the co-op 2v2 battle action genre has Attacker and Support characters in each team. Attacker characters use melee attacks, while Support characters use ranged attacks. Players will have four characters to choose from, each with different skills and attacks.

Kodansha Game Creator's Lab describes the game Family Battle 2vs2 Arena:

“Karaage or Japanese fried chicken. Is someone squeezing a lemon or slathering mayonnaise over this creamy, mouth-watering delicacy? When the Karaage is served only one plate, the argument over this ancient question results in an epic feud between the two rival factions of this superpowered family!”

“Yoshiaki Nakamichi (Super Drink Bros.) also known as nekogameteacher, is the creator who developed this game. Akeji Fujimura (As the Gods Will) is working on the character designs and key art for the Family Battle 2vs2 Arena game.

Kodansha founded the Kodansha Game Creator's Lab in September 2020. The project aims to support indie developers in their game production, publishing, international expansion, and future game expansion.
