He is 5 years old, yet acts like an adult. In general, he is very honest, always curious, and has no shame at all. There are instances where Shinnosuke's own antics really solve the problems of those around him.

2. Misae Nohara

Hiroshi Nohara, is the head of the Nohara family. He is the only source of income for his family. He works as a kakaricho (low level manager) at the Futaba Shoji Company. He often works overtime to earn extra money and he still has to pay 32 years of mortgage payments.

It's also quite surprising to learn that he can still have some free time to spend with his family too. Hiroshi became acquainted with Misae Koyama when he was 29 years old and soon married her. After that they had a son named Shinnosuke, the main character of Crayon Shinchan. Hiroshi can fight against his enemies, with a technique called smelly socks because it hasn't been washed in a week and also his thin sharp beard that is rubbed against his enemy's face.

4. Himawari Nohara

Himawari Nohara, is the youngest child of the Nohara family who was born on September 27, 1996. Her birth date is the premiere date of the Crayon Shinchan special episode where he was born. She is a precocious baby who is also very passionate about doing things. Although she is still a baby, her character has matured and grown very intelligently in the series.

She has an affinity for shiny objects (gems ​​and precious metals) and branded items. 5. Toru Kazama

6. Nene Sakurada

Nene Sakurada, is one of Shin-chan's classmates and a friend from sunflower class. Together with her kindergarten friends, she likes to play "mom" but uses scripts with complex game scenarios like real domestic life in Japan, where divorce and husband and wife quarrels are very common. Nene usually forces her friends  to play “mother” with her.

In her game, she insists on being the perfect mom all the time, and she forces her friends to do things they don't want them to do. This game has always been a nightmare to Shin-chan, Bo-chan, and Kazama-kun. This "mother" is also a nightmare for Masao because he often has to be Nene's husband as a failed civil servant.

7. Bo Suzuki

Bo Suzuki (Bo-chan) is one of Shin-chan's classmates from sunflower class, he is 5 years old and born on September 10, 1992 in Kasukabe. He appears to be slow and often expressionless, but he is actually quite intelligent and has an interest in adult-oriented artistic things.
He likes to collect various types of stones, and often investigates urban legends and mysterious objects such as UFOs. Action Mask is the superhero protagonist of the TV series in Crayon Shinchan. The actor who plays him is Gotaro Go, the alter ego of Action Mask. When not fighting his enemies to save the world, he works as a film stuntman. In Crayon Shinchan, it is explained that when Gotaro Go is about to die, a scientist uses advanced technology to give him super powers.

Shinnosuke stated that he hopes to become an Action Mask too when he grows up. The word "Kamen" (Mask) is a reference to the most popular Japanese television series, Kamen Rider. Action Kamen is said to come from Action Planet. His signature move is "Shutter of Destruction" with a pose that parodies Ultraman.

10. Buriburizaemon

Buriburizaemon is a cowardly talking pig who always carries a katana. He is featured in several episodes of Crayon Shinchan which is set in ancient Japan. Buriburizaemon is Shin-chan's imaginary character, but he is treated as a character that exists in Shin-chan's real life.

This pigman is a unique superhero who will come running when someone asks for his help, but he will also immediately defect to his opponent's side if he is outnumbered in a fight.
