This year's 14th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump published the final chapter of Dr. Stone by Boichi and Riichirou Inagaki. Previously in the 13th issue, the magazine had revealed a teaser for Dr. Stone which will reach its climax in the 14th edition.

The 25th volume of Dr. Stone was published in Japan on March 4, 2022, and the 26th and final volume will be published on July 4, 2022. Additionally, the manga will receive a new chapter in Weekly Shonen Jump alongside an anime special Dr. Stone. Stone: Ryusui in the summer of 2022.

Dr. Stone entered its final arc in September 2021. Boichi (Sun-Ken Rock) and Inagaki (writer of Eyeshield 21) serialized Dr. Stone in Weekly Shonen Jump in March 2017. Viz Media is also publishing the manga digitally and in print. MANGA Plus also publishes the manga digitally in English.

Dr. Stone's first anime season debuted in July 2019. The anime premiered on Toonami in August 2019. Dr. Stone: Stone Wars, the anime's second season, premiered in January 2021. The anime debuted on Toonami in May 2021. Netflix is ​​also streaming the anime series.

The anime will get a third season which will premiere in 2023, and will also get a special anime titled Dr. Stone: Ryusui which will premiere this summer. This special anime will take place after the story of Dr. Stone: Stone Wars, and will center on the story of Ryusui.
