Reggie was born in Manado, North Sulawesi on August 13, 1988. Reggie graduated from college in 2010 as an IT Information Technology graduate and immediately worked in a company. It wasn't long before Reggie moved on to other companies several times until he started a YouTube channel called MiawAug in 2014.

Known through the video "draw my life", Reggie is a company manager. While working, he also creates YouTube content. But after that, he focused on creating content on YouTube and quit his job. At first, his YouTube earnings were less than his earnings as a Company manager. But, after a year and a half, his income has increased, though not by much.

Entering 2015, Reggie finally decided to quit his job and try to focus on his YouTube channel. Through the video he uploaded, Reggie doesn't know why he really likes creating game content. It's no coincidence that Reggie chose YouTube, where he believes his career will take off. Sure enough, Reggie's subscribers at the time this article was written had reached 18.2 million.

MiawAug's name comes from the sound of cats and dogs

During his career as a YouTuber, Reggie has played various games every day. He plays the games he likes, not just the popular games. That's what made him famous.

Becoming a Non-Toxic Youtuber

Initially, MiawAug used English in his YouTube content but eventually, he started using Indonesian and made himself famous. Although commonly referred to as a polite YouTuber, in the past from 2014 to 2015 MiawAug's content was filled with harsh words.

Not only that, his consistent approach to YouTube is commendable as he is very diligent in creating content, even up to two videos a day, which would have been difficult without Reggie's determination to grow his channel. Not only showing how he plays his game, Reggie also often shares the guide about the games he plays.

To get closer to his viewers, Reggie also made an important formula, namely engagement. The interactions that Reggie does seem to invite the audience to work together in solving the puzzles of the game he is playing. Because of that formula, Reggie is also loved by YouTube fans in the country.

In 2017, Reggie got 1 million subscribers and was awarded the Gold Button Award which at that time was also awarded to three other major Youtubers, namely Atta Halilintar, Hanin Dhiya and LASTDAY Production.

Prior to 2015, MiawAug's fan name was Meat Lovers. However, because he felt it didn't match the name of his channel, he changed the name of his fanbase to Mi-lovers.
