Jujumaru was defeated by Kawaki, making Chocho who was injured immediately treated by Mozuku who turned out to be a medical ninja from the Land of Waves.

As the lone medical ninja to survive, Mozuku must seize the drug Kurobane stole. The incident made Kawaki part with Shikadai who had to bring back the injured Chocho to return to Konoha Village. Kawaki also continues his mission alone to escort Mozuku and fight Kurobane who stole the medicine.

1. Kawaki and Mozuku Chased Kurobane

In Boruto Episode 230, it is shown that Kawaki alone continues his mission to escort Mozuku after the injured Chocho has to be escorted back to Konoha by Shikadai. The only remaining cure for the Wave Nation's plague has been stolen by Kurobane, the spy of the evil Daimyo from the Land of Wave who is ordered to stop Mozuku and the other medical ninjas from trying to stop the plague.

Included in the elite shinobi of the Land of Waves, Kurobane is indeed famous for his cruelty for killing his opponent after successfully interrogating them. But Kawaki will still reclaim the drug that Kurobane stole, according to Kawaki's promise to Mozuku.

Konohamaru also reported to Naruto and Shikamaru about the investigation progress of the murder of the medical ninja from the Land of Wave near Konoha. The seventh Hokage also ordered Team 7 to help Team 10 who were with Kawaki because they realized this case was very dangerous for their mission.

2. Support from Boruto and His Team

The D-class mission run by Team 7 was successfully completed by Mitsuki alone, by escorting the livestock to their destination. Sarada and Boruto, who are suspicious of the spies of the Daimyo while carrying out their team mission, take the initiative to move towards the Land of Waves because of their suspicions. Kawaki and Mozuku also caught up with Kurobane, but Kurobane immediately released his mist technique. The battle ground filled with mist that could absorb bodily fluids to dryness could also create mirages making it difficult to find Kurobane who was hiding among his clones.

3. Mozuku’s Sacrifice for Kawaki

Kawaki was unable to hit Kurobane with his scientific ninja weapon due to the many mirage clones created within the mist. Not to mention the attacks of Kurobane's spinning propeller that kept hitting Kawaki. Realizing that the blades were driven by threads, Kawaki immediately released a fire elemental move that broke the fog and could see the strings of Kurobane.

By tracing the thread, the real Kurobane can be found at the end of the thread. Kawaki's scientific weapon hand immediately beat Kurobane and dispelled all the mist and his mirage clone. When he wanted to retrieve the stolen medicine, Kurobane instead moved the blade rapidly towards Kawaki's back.

Kawaki, who is off guard, was almost impaled by the propeller but was saved by Mozuku who jumped at the propeller to protect Kawaki. Boruto's newly arrived Rasengan immediately destroyed Kurobane's propeller, Shikadai also issued a Kagemane no Jutsu stance to prevent Kurobane from moving again.

4. Kawaki Replaced Mozuku To Deliver the Medicine

The dying Mozuku also orders Kawaki to replace him to deliver the medicine for his teacher in the Land of Waves, and Mozuku gives Kawaki the money before he dies. Saddened by Mozuku's death, Kawaki immediately carried out the last will to deliver medicine to the Land of Waves with the help of Shikadai and Boruto.

As they approach the land of the waves, more and more evil Daimyo's men want to stop the Konoha shinobi from delivering medicine. The evil Daimyo's men are held back by Boruto and Shikadai, Boruto asks Kawaki to continue his journey alone when he and Shikadai stop their enemies.

The medicine bag that the Evil Daimyo's men had asked for was thrown by Kawaki until it broke. Due to being careless, the Evil Daimyo's men were immediately defeated by Kawaki with his scientific ninja weapon. The medicine that Kawaki had hidden in his clothes was immediately given to Mozuku's teacher. Kawaki told the teacher about Mozuku’s sacrifice and he’s even more determined to stop the plague.

5. Kawaki Passed the Test to Become Genin 

Kawaki's graduation exam to become a Konoha Genin is shown in Boruto Episode 230. Even though according to Kawaki the mission to escort Mozuku to return to the Land of Waves failed because Mozuku was killed, Kawaki is still considered to have passed the exam to become a Konoha Genin. Naruto who heard Shikadai's report about Kawaki's actions who was willing to do everything to save people from an epidemic really showed the attitude of a Konoha shinobi.

Chocho, who was hospitalized due to her severe injuries, managed to recover thanks to the many delicious foods she enjoyed during her treatment accompanied by her best friend Sarada.
