1. Ikada Reveals That He is not A Native of Shipbuilding Island
In Boruto Episode 240, it is shown that Boruto and Ikada are sailing to the ship's spare parts factory to repair a large ship boarded by refugees from Doto Island. Along the way, Ikada tells Boruto about himself, and they get to know each other better as friends.
Admitting that he is not a native of the shipbuilding island, Ikada tells about his fierce older sister. Ikada's story made Borut remember his scary little sister, Himawari.
2. Boruto and Ikada Want to Help Fisherman whose Ship Sank in the Storm
The motorboat that Ikada and Boruto were on was caught in a sea storm. Fortunately, Ikada's expertise in steering the first small boat he made was able to avoid the dangerous waves in the middle of a storm. Suddenly they saw a fisherman whose boat capsized and sank in the middle of the storm. They also took the initiative to help him.
Ikada's ability to steer the ship allowed them to avoid the fierce sea storms to approach the drowning fisherman. To help the fisherman, Ikada jumped into the sea and swam to the fisherman. But something surprising Boruto happened in the effort to save the fisherman.

Promising to keep Ikada's power a secret, Boruto also feels happy to have a friend with such a unique ability. This time it was Boruto's turn to help Ikada with his kage bunshin no jutsu, which allowed Boruto to pull Ikada back onto the boat.
4. The War Between the Funato Pirates and the Water Nation is Getting Intense
On the shipbuilding island, Denki’s team was praised by the shipbuilders for proving prompt in helping repair the ship. Mitsuki, who previously supervised Kawaki, was invited by Sarada to meet Team Denki.
The news about the war between the Funato clan pirates and the Land of Water that was getting more and more tense was received by Denki’s Team. Because the war was so turbulent, Mizukage, the leader of the Water Country, had to join the war at the forefront. Araumi, the leader of the Funato pirates, instructed his children to completely crush the power of the Water Country and control the entire territory.
5. Graduation Exam For Ikada as an Expert Shipbuilder
A secret that Ikada has is also shown in Boruto Episode 240. It turns out that the older sister Ikada told Boruto is Seiren, one of the top brass of the Funato clan pirates. After returning from the ship's spare parts factory, Boruto and Ikada, who had arrived at the shipbuilding island, went straight to Master Kajiki.
