All the bridges leading to the village have been destroyed by Metal Lee, making the Funato clan pirate attack troops led by Funamushi have to come up with a new strategy.

They will also spy on the village where Kagura grew up. Inside the village, the shinobi of Konoha and Kirigakure are preparing to face the pirate attack. But Hebiichigo seemed hesitant to join the fight, because the Funato clan's pirate troops outnumbers the Konoha and Kirigakure shinobi alliance troops.

2. Buntan Reveals His Past to Hebiichigo

Knowing Hebiichigo's doubts, Buntan immediately spoke with her fellow inmates. Even though the Kirigakure government only reduced their prison terms by 3 years, Buntan believed that Kagura would try to convince the Mizukage to completely erase the sentences of the convicts who helped in this mission.

Buntan also tries not to betray Kagura. The kunoichi reveals her past, which was betrayed by her beloved Shizuma when they were both prisoners. 3. Kagura Removes the Seal that Binds the Convicts

Kyoho, Buntan, and Hebiichigo were suddenly summoned to a room by Kagura. The prisoners were asked to stand with their backs to Kagura. Even though Buntan and Kyoho immediately obeyed him, Hebiichigo was initially annoyed by the order but Kagura asked her to trust his orders. When the three inmates had turned their backs to Kagura, the prison warden removed the binding seal on the necks of the prisoners.

The seal that originally prevented the convicts who participated in this mission from escaping or killing Kagura was finally completely lost. The reason Kagura did this was because he was afraid that he would be killed in the war against pirates, and if Kagura was killed then the prisoners would be killed due to the seal on their neck. Kagura has complete trust in the inmates and wants them to help in this mission willingly and not out of fear of the seal around their neck.

4. Strategy to Outwit the Funato Clan Pirate Reconnaissance Squad

In order to outwit Funato's pirate scout troops who were about to enter the village, previously the shinobi and villagers hid in a building in the center of the village. Only the village head welcomed the pirate reconnaissance troops who would inspect the Village, in order to make the Funato clan who was about to attack think the Village was no longer inhabited and let their guard down.

Suddenly a baby's cry from the villagers was heard in a building. Fortunately, Iwabe swiftly used his earthen wall stance to cover the building containing the bamboo and the hiding residents. The Funato clan pirate scout thought the baby's cry was a cat who happened to be passing in front of him who was stealing fish. After that the scouts returned with the main pirate troop outside the village, reporting that the village was no longer inhabited because they had been deceived.

5. Hebiichigo Escapes From the Village 

Hebiichigo's escape was shown in Boruto Episode 244. Even though Kagura had removed the seal on her neck, Hebiichigo still wanted to escape from the village that the pirates were about to attack. Metal Lee, who prevented Hebiichigo, was hit until he was unconscious.

Metal Lee immediately reported to Kagura and his friends. Kyoho and Buntan decided to follow Hebiichigo and bring him back. When the convicts left the village, the Funato clan's pirate troops were preparing to enter the village, while the Konoha and Kagura shinobi's strength was getting smaller to fight.
