1. Sarada Creates a Trap to Repel Funato Clan Pirates' Attacks

In Boruto Episode 245, the Konoha shinobi and Kagura prepare a trap to repel the attacks of the Funato clan's pirate troops. All the bridges that became access to the village had been destroyed by Metal Lee, leaving a narrow path flanked by canyons.

The only entrance has been installed with stone traps by Sarada and her friends. They all have prepared for battle carefully, because they are outnumbered by the pirate troops. Especially with Hebiichigo's escape from the battle, and also Buntan and Kyoh who went to find and catch up with their partner. Boruto and his friends are losing in numbers.

2. Metal Lee's Heartbreak Because Hebiichigo Abandoned the Mission

The person who was most disappointed and heartbroken by Hebiichigo's escape was Metal Lee. It seemed earlier that the two of them had gotten closer, with Hebiichigo sewing up Metal Lee's pants when they were ripped from destroying the bridge into the village. 3. The Funato Clan Pirates Found Out About the Trap 

Still hiding after seeing Kyoho and Buntan looking for her, Hebiichigo instead met the Funato clan's pirate squad. By eavesdropping on the pirate troops who were chatting, Hebiichigo realized that Funamushi, the leader of the Funato clan's attacking squad, had already known about the plot of the Konoha shinobi as well as Kagura.

Not wanting to be fooled, the ambush from the Funato Clan planned to suddenly attack the trap-watchers. Hearing all that, Hebiichigo changed his mind to run away from the battle because she felt her friends were in danger. Sure enough, the stone trap that Sarada and her friends had prepared was actually destroyed by the ambush troops of the Funato Clan pirates who already knew about it.

4. Funamushi Wants to Avenge the Seriously Wounded Seiren

The ambush troops also attacked Sarada and her friends from above the canyon with their surprise action. After successfully crippling the attacks of the ambushers, the Konoha Village shinobi will face the main assault force of the Funato Clan pirates moving from beneath the canyon. Luckily Hebiichigo came back to help Sarada and her friends.

The good cooperation of Konoha shinobi with the prisoners of Kirigakure is well demonstrated. Buntan and Sarada, who were surrounded by enemies, could both use the lightning ball technique to dispel it. Iwabe who released his earthen wall technique immediately cooperated with Kyoho who hit the large wall to hit the many attackers from the Funato clan. Metal Lee’s taijutsu  also nimbly beat up the pirates tied to Hebiichigo's strings. Furious to see his troops defeated, Funamushi the leader of the raiders from the pirates immediately wanted to attack Kagura because he wanted to avenge Seiren who was injured because of Kagura.

5. Kagura's Intense Duel With Funamushi

The fierce battle of shinobi who use water skills is shown in Boruto Episode 245. Even though previously Boruto and his friends had closed the water source in the village so that Funamushi who used water skills would not use it, he instead sucked the blood of some of his men to death. The blood was controlled by Funamushi into a whirlwind.

Kagura swiftly uses the heirloom sword given by the Mizukage with his magical power to cut Funamushi's whirlwind that will destroy the village. It turned out that even though Funamushi's whirlwind had been destroyed, the big pirate suddenly reappeared behind Kagura. A large sword was stabbed by Funamushi until it penetrated Kagura's body.
