1. Iwabe and Denki Who Never Returned To the Village

In Boruto Episode 248, the impact of the attack on the Funato clan pirate troops led by Funamushi has made the whole village starved, due to the destruction of the warehouse where the food supply was stored. Trying to find food in the forest, Iwabe and Denki were caught by the Funato clan pirates who were wandering around the village.

Two small village children who saw Iwabe and Denki kidnapped also reported the incident to Sarada Uchiha who was guarding the front gate of the village entrance. Apparently the Funato clan pirates intended to starve the entire village by setting a siege before they attacked the village again.

2. Metal Lee and Hebiichigo’s Love Story 

The seeds of love between Metal Lee and Hebiichigo also grew more and more. After learning about Hebiichigo's past which proves that she is actually a good person, Metal Lee grows closer to the girl.

Hebiichigo's sewing skills also help Metal Lee, who often tears his clothes to be repaired at the tsundere girl's offer. But unfortunately the war between the Water Country and the Funato clan pirates made Metal Lee and Hebiichigo unable to be together.

3. The Pirates Started Invading The Village Again

After waiting for the right moment, the ground troops belonging to the Funato Clan pirates also raided the village which was the only way to Kirigakure. Luckily Boruto and his friends had evacuated the civilians to underground shelters before the battle took place.

This time a major attack was deployed by the Funato Clan pirate troops led by Funamushi. The cause of the big attack was Funamushi who still wanted to avenge Seiren. Even though he managed to kill Kagura, Funamushi still wanted to kill Boruto who was considered to have injured Seiren as well as Kagura.

4. Funamushi's Giant Jellyfish Attack

Even though the water source in the village had been drained, the Funato Clan pirates brought jars of water to supply the water-bending ninja Funamushi. By breaking the jars in front of Funamushi, he was instantly able to gather the immense power of the water to form a giant jellyfish.

The giant jellyfish destroyed the whole village with its water tentacles. While busy fighting with his jakar martial arts stance near his Taijutsu, Metal Lee was almost hit by a giant jellyfish tentacle attack from Funamushi. But Hebiichigo immediately blocked Metal Lee and instead it was the ninja girl who was hit by the fatal attack from Funamushi's giant jellyfish tentacle.

5. Hebiichigo's Sacrifice Angers Buntan 

The sacrifice that led to the death of one of the shinobi was shown again in Boruto Episode 248. Hebiichigo immediately died from being hit by a water tentacle attack from the giant jellyfish Funamushi. Boruto immediately attacked the big jellyfish with rasengan until it bounced Funamushi's body and destroyed the giant jellyfish-shaped water move.

Enraged by Funamushi's fatal attack on Heebiichigo, Buntan immediately stabbed Funamushi with her sword. She did it because he wanted to avenge Kagura too. The fall of Funamushi made all the ground troops of the Funato Clan pirates immediately flee from the battle. Unfortunately Hebiichigo actually died because of Funamushi's fatal attack, Metal Lee who loved her felt very sad because he lost his lover.
