1. Boruto and Kakashi Witness the Fight Between 2 Senior Citizens
In Boruto Episode 260, Boruto Uzumaki is shown helping Kakashi to bring his groceries. They also rested at a traditional Japanese dango shop. Suddenly the calm atmosphere was ruined by the fight between 2 senior citizens, but Kakashi remained indifferent to it.
After being scolded by Boruto, Kakashi just said he only wanted to break up Naruto and Sasuke's fight. The feud between the two elderly became even more lively because supporters from each side came to argue about the fireworks display. On one side, are the residents of the old town who have annually held fireworks in Konoha, and the other party is the residents of the new town who want a more modern fireworks display.
2. Kakashi Wants to Solve the Conflict to Get the First Print Icha Icha Tactics
Fortunately, Yubeshi, the grandson of the old town's elderly, and Sabure, the new town's grandson, stop the feud. Yubeshi's grandfather even chased Sabure and the new townspeople from the front of his dango shop, until he accidentally hit Kakashi who was drinking tea.
Feeling guilty for Kakashi as a customer of his shop, Yubeshi apologized and told his grandfather's problems. Even though Yubeshi plans to marry Sabure, but the family conflicts make it difficult for the plan to work. Comparing the conflict with Kakashi's favorite Icha Icha Tactics story, Yubeshi instead showed him the very rare first print edition of the Icha Icha Tactics novel. Since Yubeshi owned something that Kakashi wanted, Kakashi then agreed to help resolve the conflict.

3. Boruto and Kakashi Mediates the Old and New Town Talk
Boruto and Kakashi visited the modern cake shop owned by Sabure's grandfather, they also saw a photo of Sabure's grandfather which seemed to have been torn in half but was still on display. When guessing that the torn photo was the figure of Yubeshi's grandfather, who was friends with Sabure's grandfather, it was finally revealed that the root of their problem was only because of fireworks.
As the son of the seventh Hokage, Boruto was able to persuade Yubeshi's grandfather to talk with Sabure's grandfather. The Hokage's office is where the mediation is, but the two warring parties still don't want to budge. Finally Kakashi decided both parties to keep holding fireworks from each side, and the winner was the fireworks that Konoha residents liked the most.
4. Firework Battle
The day of the fireworks display arrived. When both parties prepare the fireworks, Kakashi appears in disguise and swapping the contents of fireworks from both parties. That night when the fireworks were lit, the old townspeople praised Yubeshi's grandfather fireworks, and the new townspeople also praised Sabure's grandfather fireworks.
But at the end of the fireworks display, both parties were praising each other's works unknowingly, because Kakashi's idea of exchanging fireworks was very appropriate. The point is that traditional and modern fireworks are equally good, especially if both types of fireworks are lit at the same time. The residents of the old and new cities were embarrassed because they had previously clashed because of the fireworks.
5. Kakashi Solved the Problem
Kakashi's prowess to defuse the feud is shown in Boruto Episode 260. When the fireworks display is over, Kakashi and Boruto reunite Yubeshi and her grandfather with Sabure and his grandfather. Even though at first the grandfathers were still at odds, Yubeshi's sincerity in wanting to marry Sabure was hampered by the feud of the two grandfathers.
Finally, the marriage brought peace to the two grandfathers and the residents of the old city with the residents of the new city. Yubeshi's grandfather began to accept the modern element in Konoha by wearing a modern suit at his granddaughter's wedding, and Sabure's grandfather also wanted to respect traditional customs by wearing a kimono on his grandson's happy day. The rare first edition of Icha Icha Tactics was successfully obtained by Kakashi from Yubeshi, because Kakashi was able to reconcile his family's conflicts.
