Paper Rex (PRX) is the only representative from the APAC region left as well as the first Asian grand finalist in 2023 Valorant Champions after beating Evil Geniuses (EG) in the upper bracket final match. Paper Rex’s 2-1 victory against Evil Geniuses brings them to the Grand Final as the remaining representative from the APAC region team.

There were many amazing moments during the match between Paper Rex vs Evil Geniuses, but there were some issues among the community because these two teams were seen teabagging each other. Teabag is taunting that is usually done by FPS players by squatting and standing repeatedly over the enemy as if to make fun of dead players.

Due to this, Riot immediately gave a warning to Paper Rex. This was conveyed during the post-match press conference on Friday (25/8/2023), various questions regarding the "teabag" actions of the two teams made the match even more heated. 

Paper Rex’s dualist, Something, commented, "It’s like no emotions, we just did it for fun." Then, f0rsakeN added, "Actually, we received a warning from Riot for 'teabagging'."

As the coach, Alecks, gave his opinion about “teabagging” in response to their comment, “Honestly, I don’t really like it when they do something like that just because they got carried away. I usually tell them off if they do it during practice. However, considering that Evil Geniuses don't mind it, why not?”

In the lower bracket final match, Evil Geniuses compete with Loud with a win for Evil Geniuses 3-2 on Saturday (26/8/2023). Evil Geniuses once again will face Paper Rex in the Grand Final and it will be a revenge match for Evil Geniuses whether they will defeat Paper Rex or Paper Rex can prove that they are still the best team in 2023 Valorant Champions. The next match will take place on August 27th 2.00 AM (WIB).
