The sixth episode of Demon Slayer season two premiered on Sunday, January 9, 2022. In that episode, it was shown the impressive physical changes that Nezuko Kamado underwent with her new demon form.

Although the anime featuring Tanjiro's younger sister's transformation is something that manga readers have been waiting for, it actually surprised Nezuko fans who haven't read the manga. After the episode was broadcast, some netizens criticized Demon Slayer on social media for allegedly inappropriate content.

Most of the netizens' complaints lie in the fact that Nezuko Kamado is said to be 14 years old in the anime. Many netizens have revealed on Twitter that it is very inappropriate for minor characters to be shown wearing clothes that are quite revealing and look sexy. The netizens also criticized people who liked Nezuko's new form.

The Demon Slayer series is used to receiving criticism for content deemed inappropriate and controversial. A few weeks ago, Uzui Tengen who is said to have three wives was also criticized by netizens because Demon Slayer was considered to support the practice of polygamy. Perhaps the controversial case of Nezuko Kamado will not be the last controversy surrounding the very popular and successful Demon Slayer series.
