Week 1 of the MPL ID Season 9 has ended, and there have been lots of interesting moments that you certainly wouldn’t want to miss. And, the following players managed to steal the limelight with their brilliant displays, which gave us the idea to include them in the MPL ID Season 9 Week 1 Dream Team.
Of the many players in Week 1, which players do you think to deserve a spot in the MPL ID Season 9 Week 1 Dream Team? Without further ado, let’s get into it.
1. BTR Rippo (EXP-Laner)
The first name on this week’s list is Rippo. Played two matches in Week 1, Rippo once again enjoyed an outstanding performance as an EXP-Laner. His extra-aggressive style helped Bigetron Alpha to play at their best during team fights.
As an EXP-laner, Rippo has rarely lost in 1v1 situations. He also seemed to know when to rotate and when to split push. Therefore, Rippo clearly deserves a spot on this week’s list.
2. RRQ Alberttt (Jungler)
At number two, we have RRQ Alberttt. During the game against Alter Ego, Alberttt was completely unstoppable. He manages to maintain his level from last season with his exceptional Assassin plays. With his Ling, Alberttt is a nightmare for any team. It’s reasonable for the opposing team to respect ban Alberttt’s Ling.
He has won two games with RRQ this week -- as The King leads the MPL ID Season 9 current standings.
3. BTR Renbo (Mid-Laner)
Speaking of Bigetron Alpha’s excellent strategies, Renbo is certainly a big part of them. He shocked everyone by picking Johnson during the first match against Rebellion Zion. Along with Kyy’s Kadita, Renbo managed to suppress Rebellion Zion -- preventing B1rul and co. from split pushing.
Aside from Rebellion Zion, EVOS Legends also fell victim to Renbo’s brilliance. Renbo’s hero mastery made EVOS Legends lose a match in Week 1.

4. EVOS Rekt (Roamer)
When it comes to Roamer, we have Rekt. Although he was unable to give EVOS Legends a win against Bigetron Alpha, he was able to render the opposing team overwhelmed.
His vision and aggressive playstyle made Rekt one of the best Roamers in the MPL ID Season 9. If Rekt’s able to maintain his playstyle, any team will definitely have a hard time dealing with EVOS Legends.
5. RRQ Skylar (Gold-Laner)
Last but not least, we have Skylar. Thanks to his outstanding performances, Skylar was named MVP by MPL ID for Week 1.
With Beatrix as his signature pick, Skylar has exceptional stats -- with only a single death. What do you think about Skylar’s performance so far? Let us know in the comments below.
