The staff for Tomodachi Game R4, a new live-action drama based on Yuki Sato's Tomodachi Game (Friends Games) manga, revealed the new cast for the new Tomodachi Game live-action series.

Sayu Kubota plays Shiho Sawaragi, the vice president of the class. Mayu Yokota plays Yutori Kokorogi, a girl who likes popular manga. Tetta Sugimoto is Akinori Hotei, the leader of the group that runs the Tomodachi Game. Yuki Katayama plays Maria Mizuse who is wild and uncontrollable. Lisa Naito plays Haru Kisaragi, a digital cyber expert who takes orders from Akinori Hotei.

Tomodachi Game live-action series will premiere on TV Asahi on July 23, 2022.

The cast of the new Tomodachi live action game series will include members of the Johnny's Jr. Bishоnen and HiHi Jets, namely:

1. Hidaka Ukisho (Bishоnen) as Yuichi Katagiri
2. Ryuga Sat (Bishоnen) as Tenji Mikasa
3. Mizuki Inoue (HiHi Jets) as Makoto Shibe
4. Fujii Naoki (Bishоnen) as Kei Shinomiya
5. Taish Iwasaki (Bishоnen) as Juzo Kadokura
6. Soya Igari (HiHi Jets) as Hyakutaro Onigawara
7. Issei Kanasashi (Bishоnen) as Chisato Hashiratani
8. Yuto Nasu (Bishоnen) as Banri Niwa

Fuma Kikuchi of the boyband Sexy Zone will play the original character from the Tomodachi Game live-action called Novel Himuro. Novel is a newcomer to Tomodachi Game's management team, will hold the key to the whole story of the series, and he seems to have a past relationship with the story's protagonist named Yuichi.

Takurо Oikawa, Hajime Takezono (TV Asahi), and Toshiaki Kamada are directing the series. Takuji Higuchi and Shinya Hokimoto are writing the screenplay. Yoshinori Nakamura is composing the music. Mikoto Yamaguchi and Sato are credited as creators of the original work. The Tomodachi Game anime adaptation of the manga premiered on NTV on April 6, 2022, you can also watch it on the Disney+.
