Now we’ve found a weapon again from the Soviet Union aside from AKM, Groza, and SKS. The DP stands for Pulemyot Degtyaryova Pekhotny or Degatyaryov Infantry Machine Gun in English. The DP-28 name itself often misunderstood for some people.

In real life, this weapon named DP-27 in the Soviet Union, called DP-27, because this weapon firstly designed in 1927. But in the West, they thought the weapon created for the first time in 1928, resulting in the difference in the number.

As a heavy class LMG weapon, this weapon not only carried by the military alone. Sometimes, this weapon attached to the fighter plane or in a bunker as a defensive weapon. As the Soviet Union made the weapon, many of this weapon’s user originated from East Block, like East Germany (when separated), Poland, North Korea, Cuba, and many more.

DP-28, Massive Damage, Massive Ammo Storage Added With Long Time Reload!

If we’re talking about DP-28 weapon in PUBG, you shouldn’t ask for more! It’s because it has massive and deadly damage -- even included in a gun with most damage output compared to other AR weapons. DP-28 has 51 points of damage on each bullet, 3 points higher than Groze, which ‘only’ has 49 damage.  

Another advantage of DP-28 is the ammo count per magazine, which is 47 ammo! But these advantages balanced with slow firing rate, so this weapon is not so god if you use it for an urban short-range shootout.

Although you shouldn’t trigger happy to waste that ammo, because the reload time of this weapon is very slow! So make sure you shoot while pay attention to the ammo left when using this weapon.

Tips to Use DP-28 in the Battlefield

If we’re talking about tips using DP-28, maybe it can be said that there’s nothing serious to talk about. Why? One of the reasons is the weapon attachment for this weapon is not that much compared to other AR weapons. Even this weapon has the least attachment to have because this weapon can only be attached with Sight.

Then, what we should pay attention to if you want to use DP-28 so bad? Maybe because as possible, as you can using prone position because this weapon is similar to Mk-14, it has natural recoil reducement, which is bipod to prevent the weapon from shaking while firing.

Another tip is don’t use this weapon during a shootout in the town arena. Why? Due to the slow firing rate, even slower than AKM. When you have a shooting in a city area, you will be defeated quickly due to the slow firing rate.
